Honduran rosewood comprises the back and sides of the the PS12ce, a wood with a rich heritage as a top-end material for acoustic guitars that produces a lush low end with clear trebles and a shimmering, punchy midrange—overall, a balanced tonal response that makes excellent use of the extra headroom and power delivered by the sinker redwood top. V-Class bracing ties the package together, drawing out these tonewoods’ essential musical character and supplying ample volume and sustain for any application. The compact Grand Concert body, comfortable for players of every stature and style, is adorned with our most luxurious appointments, notably the gloss-finish body, ebony binding, radius-style armrest, striking 4-piece Simons back wedge, paua rosette and body edge trim, and a shaded edgeburst color treatment for the back and sides. The slender Taylor neck, capped with West African ebony, is decorated with our California Vine inlay pattern in mother-of-pearl, as is the rosewood pickguard, and the peghead features premium Gotoh 510 tuners in antique gold. It ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell guitar case.
