300 SERIES

Our 300 Series has introduced countless players to the pleasures of the all-solid-wood acoustic experience. 400 SERIES

Indian rosewood or African ovangkol? Both deliver full-range tone profiles. Rosewood’s voice tends to emphasize the low and high ends of the tonal spectrum, with an extra splash of treble sparkle, while ovangkol will lean toward a stronger midrange presence. Let your ears be the judge. If it comes down to looks, you’ve got ovangkol’s golden-brown hues and Small Diamond inlays versus rosewood’s chocolate complexion and a Renaissance fretboard inlay. Whichever flavor you prefer, signature Taylor playability will help you sound your best.

500 SERIES

Boasting rich midrange and warm, articulate tones, tropical mahogany has established itself among the tonewood elite. Many consider these striking all-gloss guitars the ultimate fingerpickers — especially the cedar-topped 514ce and 512ce — while bolder strummers and flatpickers may lean toward the bigger-bodied 510ce and 516ce. Guitarists of all styles will enjoy recent expansions to the 500 Series, headlined by the new Grand Pacific 517, a round-shoulder dreadnought that blends the inimitable clarity of a Taylor with greater warmth and low-end response. The 517, along with Grand Auditorium and Grand Concert models in the 500 Series, also feature V-Class bracing, a tone-enhancing innovation that pushes greater volume and sustain from our acoustic guitars while eliminating many common intonation problems. With a more musical tone and new options across the Series, our mahogany guitars have never given guitarists more creative space to thrive. Visually, engraved Deco Diamond inlays and faux tortoise shell binding honor mahogany's classic heritage.

   700 SERIES

Indian rosewood’s rich musical properties have made it one of the most popular tonewoods in the acoustic guitar world. Among Taylor’s several classes of premium rosewood guitars, our 700 Series is the latest to reveal a tonal and aesthetic makeover, with the addition of V-Class bracing and our new Grand Pacific body shape redefining the capabilities of rosewood. The result is a more powerful voice dressed in wood-centric appointment details that showcase an earthy, understated elegance. The round-shoulder dreadnought Grand Pacific combines rosewood’s robust low-end response with unmistakable Taylor clarity and balance, while V-Class bracing adds volume and sustain to Grand Auditorium, Grand Concert, and Grand Pacific styles in this series. All told, the 700 Series is functionally and aesthetically emblematic of Taylor craftsmanship, performing across musical barriers.
